Watching education videos while working on e-mails and stuff sounds efficient. But in the end, it’s more effective to do things separately in approximately half the time. Because both tasks tend to require your full attention.
However, depending on your personal IQ, you can easily listen to more or less complicated academic podcasts while driving, because driving - at least after a couple years of experience with both the car and the route - is nearly entirely controlled by the subconscious only.
